Tyler S. Young is an experienced personal injury attorney and a partner at Young, Kester, Black & Jube (YKBJ). Tyler has successfully represented clients in a broad spectrum of cases, including ATV and side-by-side accidents, construction zone injuries, wrongful death, auto collisions, trucking and bus wrecks, and more. He is particularly known for his work in high-stakes litigation and is recognized as a prominent trial lawyer. His dedication has consistently resulted in exceptional outcomes for his clients, including securing one of the largest injury settlements in Utah history—a $27 million settlement in a Greyhound bus wreck case.
In his role as “Of Counsel” for McDonough Law Group, Tyler handles all Utah personal injury cases and aids the firm’s attorneys in injury-related matters across other states. His strategic legal acumen has also led to successful appeals in several cases before the Utah Supreme Court and Utah Court of Appeals, including landmark cases like Jeffs v. West and Francis v. State of Utah.

A 2011 graduate of the prestigious Spence Trial Lawyers College, Tyler’s commitment to professional excellence is unwavering.
Outside of his legal practice, Tyler is a devoted father, passionate bow hunter, and successful small business owner. He is also deeply involved in community service through his active participation in the Springville Rotary Club.
